The concept behind Fresh Coast Goods is to bridge the gap between local
producers and the institutions that will use their products while
improving the local economy and promoting the biodiversity of Southwest
Michigan. While there are some existing outlets for local foods,
the demand is rapidly expanding as evidenced by the growth of Community
Supported Agriculture (CSA), the multitude of farmers markets, health food stores
